Amy and Pilar are creative partners and life partners. They work as a writing and directing team. Amy’s background is in politics, where she worked as a videographer for the DNC.

After a move to Los Angeles, she went on to create her own comedy web series, LITTLE HORRIBLES. Amy has directed numerous episodes of television, including SMILF, CASUAL, ANGIE TRIBECA and the pilot of the emmy-nominated series, DEAD TO ME, for which she won the Caucus Award for directing. Amy recently directed the pilot of SO HELP ME TODD, a CBS network dramedy which premiered with the highest ratings of viewership across all networks in 2022.

Pilar’s background is in psychology. Before joining forces with Amy, she was a therapist in private practice and community mental health. Writing, creating, and a love of film and comedy are the foundation of their creative partnership.

Together Amy and Pilar directed the pilot of LOVE, VICTOR, Hulu’s most watched original series of 2020. They’ve directed multiple commercials, including ads for the Shift campaign with comedian Martin Starr (Silicon Valley), as well as Synchrony Bank, with actor Maribeth Monroe (The Good Place, Workaholics).

In addition to commercials, they continue to develop their own projects in film and television. They live in Venice Beach.
